Bringing Workflow to life in motion
A launch film that captures the energy, ideas, and ambition behind Tines’ AI event.
Introducing a new media brand
Tines had been building something exciting – their new media brand, Workflow. They were bringing this to market with Workflow live, a one-day virtual event jam packed with live conversations with leaders transforming their organisations with AI at scale, securely. Throughout the day, audiences learn about intelligent workflows – what’s working now, what’s next and what this all means to the future of work.
The challenge
With the plethora of virtual events in the market, Tines wanted to cut through the noise by creating a buzz, neatly encapsulating why Workflow live is a must-attend event for their audience. Rather than focusing on the speaker line up and topics they chose to deliver the simple, yet powerful vision for Workflow live – that impactful ideas don’t grow in isolation, they grow in conversation.
Together with the Tines team, we were tasked to produce a short but engaging launch film that would serve as the event’s digital heartbeat.
While raising the profile for their first flagship virtual event and securing registrations were front-of-mind for the team, this was also part of a broader initiative to bring more motion into the main Tines brand to tell their story in the most ownable and compelling way.
Dream teams
The cultural fit with Tines’ in-house creative team was unparalleled – we were a match made in heaven with a singular vision, strong alignment on our creative approach and ways of working. It was a seamless collaboration with each team bringing important insights and skillsets to the table, including the exploration of AI tools to augment the process and enable efficiencies.
We bought into, and ran with their clear vision for the film, providing two distinct creative concepts alongside references and initial exploration for consideration.
Finding the feel
We started by presenting two creative routes, alongside references and initial explorations.
Concept 1: Energy in the room.
Focusing on the energy created by the physical set and the insightful conversations. Within this concept, the set became a stage for dynamic typography, images and footage communicating our message.
Concept 2: Lighting up the stage.
Evoking feelings of excitement and anticipation, this route drew inspiration from that special moment when the lights come up just before a production begins. Be it a concert, stage-play or event.
Aspects of both routes made their way into the final result. Before we got to that outcome, we mapped out our story – we began with rough scamps, letting the ideas speak for themselves without a polished aesthetic.

Getting the details right
The typography runs as a thread through everything: purposeful, at times playful. Words become a design element as much as the message. The result clearly associates the Workflow brand with the Tines main brand while feeling genuinely fresh and distinct from it.
People at the heart
Through our partnership with Tines, it became apparent that at the core of this event was the people. People in conversation, sharing and generating ideas. This formed the backbone of the launch film we created. Sourcing footage and images from the past of people from all walks of life communicating with each other. In the film, we move from vintage footage to modern day, celebrating the conversations we share and how they shape our future.

This was brought to a conclusion with a look at the stage that will host the Workflow event. An empty space brimming with potential, ready to be filled with new conversations, new possibilities and new ideas.
