Lacework is the data-driven security platform for the cloud. With the Barbie movie launch, they recognised a synergy between their brand values, proposition and what Barbie represents, harnessing this golden opportunity to capture the zeitgeist.
Like Barbie, an iconic symbol of empowerment for women, Lacework champions women, both within and outside of their workplace. Barbie is all about possibilities, she is unapologetically secure; just like Lacework’s mantra that anything is possible when your cloud is secure.

The campaign
We had the task of bringing CISO Barbie to life across all touchpoints of the campaign which gave people the opportunity to win one of 50 custom CISO Barbies.
- CISO Barbie box creative and copywriting
- Create an overall look and feel within the existing design system for email marketing
- Design a “Livin’ the Security Dream” quiz landing page to give people the chance to win the prize
- Promo display banners for targeted ABM outreach
- The naming of the Spotify playlist with album artwork and social graphics
- Designing imagery for a Barbie editorial feature on their blog based on the Barbie Dream House theme
- A graphic to accompany the custom rollerblade social contest giveaway
